SPALAND MY LAND
Introduction of Spa for my family...One big one in the world's biggest department store of the world: SHINSEGAE, in center Busan. Entrance fee with a 20% rebate ( coupon for foreigners! ), comes to 9$ CAD per person for a 4hours access! Quite cheap if I compare the bath access from my job...it was 55$!!!!
Apparently a hot spring, water pumped up frpm the underground: Sodium Bicarbonate & Sodium Chloride hot spring. Kinda impress, it was quite big...on 3 floors? with separate baths..which were NAKED...and a part is common: different saunas & steam rooms, Entertainment zone ( DVD room )
There were 22 spas fed by the natural spring water.
There were 13 distinctive themed Jjimjilbangs in the 1st floor.
- Finnish sauna
- Yellow earth room: Yellow earth is a good remedy to woman's disease and has a good effect in purification and mental stability.
- Roman Room
- Pyramid Room
- Body sound room: design based on principle of bone conduction...playing sounds from nature or meditation music
- Wave Dream room: Meditation room with sounds and feeling that we are in the deep water
- Hard Wood Charcoal Room: Gwangwondo generates negative ions and transfers acidified body to alkalified body....
- Turkish Hammam room
- Bali Relaxation room
- SEV room: Radiating electrons that helpsto metabolize the body more rapidly?!
I would've spent my whole day in those kind of spa...but unfortunately my family doesn't like / stand the heat... so didnt't enjoy it to the fullest.

Elysee Motel in Busan
Just a personal note:
Deluxe suite motel....looks like a castle white building.
Quite old fashion, with solar lighting on the ceiling to see a fish in the sea scene above the bed... it's like a Glow in the dark thing for kids!
I kinda really like the Steam room facility integrated in the shower, while taking my shower ( which got 3 kinds of water jets with super good pressure ), just press on the start button and the steam goes out...by the time you're done with the shower, the cabin rises up to 42degrees! Perfect spa at home!!!! I want one!
And I read about the water floods in Seoul...Gangnam subway station got much water in...it was exactly where we were 2 days ago...kinda worried where to go next...can't prolly go back to the capital so soon as heavy rain is prolly gonna pour until friday....Crazy to read that Seoul would be receiving half a year's rain within 4 days!!!
Even in Busan, it was raining hard yesterday night and Many stores got water in their AC system...which all soaked the stocks....Triumph's bra store got all their bras ruined! LoL The staff pulled out rack of bras and let them dry on the Rond-Point across the street in front of the store...

Welcome to Korea!
Just want to comment on my first moment in Seoul..
I knew Koreans do NOT speak English..so I gather the most guides & maps available from the airport and asked directions to take the Limousine Bus to get to the city. Korea got budget!!! Got so many different versions of maps & a full book of the country for free!! Just saying that the day before I was so in Dilemna at the bookstore of HK if I should buy the damn expensive Lonely Planet!!
So the nearest the bus could drop us was at the Ritz Calton...which on the map we got, didn't look far at all from the hotel I booked ( located at 3mins walk from the Nambu Terminal but the map just cuts at it and the streets are non-identified)...Luckily the Concierge got us in at his front desk and ran all over into his Office inside to make calls and gather Informations and prints...Since it was getting late...he suggested us to take a cab even if it was 3 subway stations away. The cabs stopping in front of the Hotel were only Deluxe ones ( more comfy, with a Interprete phone, receipt printer, etc.)..so I mentionned We just go on the street to catch a regular one. But he just pulled 2 of our luggages super fast, and escorted us to the street steeply DOWNHILL to catch the "non Deluxe cabs''...and even if he wrote me back the adress in korean script on a Post It...he made sure the driver knew his thing and punch the adress in his GPS. All that warm welcoming and helpfulness without wanting anything in return.../Closes the taxi door, big bye signs & bows for thank you/...Lol so much respect and will for help! I think would be the first time I got such a good staff in the tourism industry in another country other than OURS =P Service 5etoiles I like! If I had the chance to pass back, I would surely bring him a gift or somthing!
Life is so expensive in Korea...food is so spicy even when the waitress says NOT...
Our hotel room is quite decent & clean, with plasma TV, a PC, bathrobes, lil continental breakfast...
Only thing is couldn't find any hotel with TWIN beds...all double beds! read a lot about how locals also participate a lot in the hotel industry because of the lovers' escapade...some are really reputated to be Love Hotels.
SO we could find pretty complete ameneties kits just in case you don't have ANYTHING with you, which is separated in lil bags, with all the needed ( toothbrush, toothpaste, bath SPONGE, razor, hair gel & more) , one named LADY ( with hair elastic, cotton pads & Q-tip..and one called LOVE...and guess what..TWO condoms whoulala =)
